At the kickoff meeting, we heard speeches from many of the most well-known individuals in the First program, watched video clips from previous years and devoured plenty of muffins and pizza; but of course the most focal part of the day was learning about the 2009 game. The rules to this year’s unique competition were enforced by a very amusing, apparently lost episode of “Who Wants To Be An Engineer,” and the required “cells” and wheels for the robot were passed around the crowd.
